Mermaid Marine confident after bumper first half

Mermaid Marine saw its first-half net earnings rise 63%, the offshore support services firm reported today.

The Western Australian firm's 2008/09 first half net earnings after tax were $12.2m, compared with $7.5m in the first half of 2007/08.
