Dredging project for greener ports

A port, a geotechnical engineering consultancy and a university have linked in a quest to find a way to reuse dredged material.

They hope to discover useful applications for ports worldwide.

Port of Brisbane Corporation, Coffey Geotechnics and James Cook University are working to develop new sustainable practices in handling dredged material as part of a three-year Australian Research Council project.
