Pirate dies after ransom drop

Somali pirates released very large crude carrier Sirius Star on Friday after a US$3m ransom was dropped onto the deck.
But some of the cash was lost within hours of a dramatic delivery to the ship, as the pirates battled severe weather to return to shore.
