Driverless trains lose their way

The automated Train Operations (ATO) program, the centerpiece of Rio Tinto's mine of the future, was postponed last week.
The world economic slowdown, not least that being felt in China, had forced Rio Tinto Iron Ore's (RTIO) hand, it said.
Approved last July, the $557m project was designed to bring greater efficiency to RTIO's rail operations by 2012.
