Newcastle port looks to Japanese investment
Japanese power companies could be about to increase their investment in the export facilities at the port of Newcastle.
Japan Coal Development (JCD), representing major Japanese customers for the port's thermal coal, already owns 4.1% of terminal operator Port Waratah Coal Services (PWCS).
