AMC launches new maritime simulation centre
After more than two years in the making, the Australian Maritime College (AMC) this week opened its $7m complex for maritime simulations.
Federal transport minister Anthony Albanese opened the centre yesterday in Tasmania's Newnham.
The state-of-the-art centre is equipped with a full mission bridge, tug simulator, six part task bridges and a dynamic positioning unit.
