QR wins bigger slice of NSW coal market

QR will invest $100m expanding its Hunter rolling stock after last week securing an 11-year haulage contract with Peabody Energy Australia.

  

Starting next year, the rail operator will haul up to 12m tonnes of coal annually from Peabody's Wambo and Wilpinjong mines to the port of Newcastle.
