Grounding fee to support Albany community
A $250,000 fee paid by the owners of a bulk carrier which ran aground off Albany 12 months ago has been used to establish a community fund for the Western Australian town.

Albany Port Authority said it had negotiated a fee with the owners of 74,086 dwt Atlantic Eagle allowing them to leave the vessel's rudder on the seabed after the July 2008 incident.
