Falling capesize rates and market uncertainty has resulted in lacklustre trading in dry bulk derivatives and continued low levels of liquidity.
“People are very nervous about the market so there is no real directional trading taking place. Everyone is very hestitant and holding off for now,” a broker said of trading in the paper market.
