Singapore container volumes down 18% in first half
Singapore container volumes were down 18% during the first half of the year at 12.3m teu although the rate of decline appears to be levelling out.
According to figures from the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore the port handled 12.3m teu in the first six months of 2009 compared to 15m teu a year earlier.
