AWB shares in trading halt

The shares of Australian agribusiness AWB Ltd were yesterday placed in a trading halt pending an announcement on its Brazilian division and forecasts for the 2009 financial year.

AWB asked the Australian Securities Exchange to halt trading of its shares yesterday afternoon.
