Queensland premier Anna Bligh this morning reportedly rejected Swire Shipping's raised compensation offer for the Pacific Adventurer spill.

The two parties met this morning to discuss the ongoing debate about how much of the clean-up Swire should pay for.

I think we need to get the navy protecting shipping from the Somali pirates into Moreton bay to take care of Capt Bligh.
