SAL warns against levy increase
Shipping Australia reiterated today its opposition to increasing the Protection of the Sea Levy to cover any pollution compensation shortfalls.
Oil from Pacific Adventurer washed up on Queensland beaches in March. Debate has since turned to the financial obligations of owners involved in such environmental incidents.
