IATA rationalises services under one portal
The International Air Transport Association's (IATA) regional customer service delivery will take place through one portal, its Australian operation has said.
"The portal will handle all enquiries in Australia and the southwest Pacific and will be logged through the IATA customer service website, which can be accessed via our Australia web page www.iata.org/australia," it said.
"Enquiries to the portal will receive instant acknowledgement and be automatically tracked.
"This will improve our responsiveness and there will be no need for enquirers to wait on the phone for the customer service help desk to respond."
Introduction of the portal meant the deactivation of the following email addresses: cssyd@iata.org; cargoau@iata.org; agencyservices-au@iata.org; stksyd@iata.org; stocksyd@iata.org; financialassessors@iata.org; idcsyd@iata.org; palms@iata.org; trainingsyd@iata.org.
