Surveyors are assessing the extent of damage to Pacific Forum Line's 160 teu Forum Avarua after an engine room fire last week.
PFL described the fire as "a major incident at sea", but said the crew was accounted for and damage to the vessel and cargo, which included fertiliser, appeared to be limited.
