Maritime unions and Rio Tinto are to continue discussions over the company's crewing and flagging proposals for its Queensland bauxite fleet.

Anthony Albanese: Federal transport minister confirms discussions in Canberra

While details were scarce this morning, a spokesman for federal transport minister Anthony Albanese confirmed that the parties had met yesterday in Canberra.

Rio Tinto refused to comment on the detail of the talks but told Lloyd's List DCN
