NSW farmers demand better deal from rail

New South Wales farmers will ramp up pressure on the state government to give greater attention to rail transport for freight and produce.

The move came at yesterday's NSW Farmer's Federation annual conference.

The federation's business, economics and trade committee representative Susan McLeish said farmers also called for improvements to regional rail infrastructure across the state.
