Break up of Allco fleet is underway

THE ICE started to break in Allco fleet sale saga last week, with Tufton Oceanic buying 50% of Allocean Charters (Singapore) from receiver Ferrier Hodgson.

The Singapore firm owned a 14-vessel fleet now 100% controlled through a new investment company, which is jointly owned with private investment vehicle SIF, and may be used for further acquisitions in shipping.
