MOL to slash costs

MITSUI OSK Lines announced last week that it would slash costs further than originally targeted.
MOL president Akimitsu Ashida told local press that the company would cut costs for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2010 by ¥57bn (US$608m), ¥17bn more than its forecast made in March this year.
