Livestock fatalities on board showing downward trend
THE LIVESTOCK export mortality rate last year was less than 1%, according to a report released last week.

LiveCorp and Meat & Livestock Australia’s 2008 national livestock export industry shipboard performance report revealed slight changes in percentages of sheep, cattle and goat deaths compared with 2007.
