Carriers face $160 peak entry to Port Botany

Sydney Ports Corporation has proposed that road carriers be charged $160 each time one of their trucks enters Port Botany during the peak period between 5 am and 1pm on weekdays.

Truck operators would be charged $80 for access between 1 pm and 9 pm, but would not be charged for off-peak slots between 9 pm and 5 am.
