More idle ships being brought back into service

Carriers have brought a number of anchored ships back into service over the past few weeks as suspended services are reactivated ahead of summer peaks.

Alphaliner has reported in its latest newsletter that idle containership tonnage continues to "vary enormously" from line to line, with some anchoring more than a fifth of their fleet and others, such as CMA CGM, keeping all ships employed.
