Maersk Logistics to re-brand under Damco

AP Moller-Maersk will re-brand its logistics empire but will drop the Maersk name after merging its supply chain management and freight forwarder business with the Damco brand.

The decision to retain the Damco forwarding name could help distance the Danish group’s supply chain activities from its Maersk Line division, the world’s number one container line.
