BHP slashes coking coal price by 58%
BHP Billiton cut the price of its coking coal by 58% yesterday in the wake of a marked fall in demand since the mining bubble burst late last year.

The world's largest mining company, which exports most of its metallurgical coal from Queensland, agreed to the price drop for FOB shipments this year.
