WestNet moves grain haulage to road after budgets ignore rail upgrade

Western Australia's grain industry is preparing to move its freight task from rail to road because of a lack of support from the state and federal governments.

WestNet general manager Paul Larsen told Rail Express that the State Government had not given a clear signal on what it planned to do with WA's grain rail network.

The rail operator has been seeking about $200m over four years jointly...
