Two imprisoned Indian seafarers held in South Korea since the Hebei Spirit oil spill in 2007 have been released.

The Hebei Two – Jasprit Chawla and Syam Chetan –offered their "heartfelt thanks" yesterday to seafarers, shipowners and industry organisations for the global campaigns which finally led to their freedom.
