Sino-Global joint venture with Rocklands Richfield put on hold

US-registered agency Sino-Global Shipping America and Australian coal firm Rocklands Richfield have put their bulk shipping joint venture on the back burner, the companies said yesterday.

Plans to set up the shipping arm to transport Rocklands Richfield's Bowen Basin coal from Queensland to China were announced on February 25 but have been delayed by the tough trading environment, according to both firms.
