Port Kembla's car processing facilities to boost Illawarra jobs

The new car storage and processing facilities being built at Port Kembla are expected to create at least 100 jobs during the construction phase and a further 50 employment opportunities after the complex has been completed.

Landside development is currently underway to provide about 10 ha for pre-delivery inspection (PDI) facilities where imported cars will be prepared before being sent to motor dealerships.
