Maritime law expert tackles arbitration issues

The Australian Maritime and Transport Arbitration Commission (AMTAC) has lured New Orleans-based maritime law expert Professor Martin Davies to Australia next month to help tackle several difficult issues for the sector.

Prof Davies, who is also the co-author of Australia's definitive maritime law text, Shipping Law, will give the third AMTAC annual address at a time when the organisation has started to develop past its fledgling stage.
