Singapore box volumes on downward spiral

Container throughput at the port of Singapore continued to fall sharply in May.

The port handled 2.1m teu in May, a 20.3% fall compared with the 2.6m teu it handled in the same month last year, according to statistics released by the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore.
