Boeing sees long-term growth in Asia-Pacific air cargo

Annual growth in air cargo traffic will be almost lower than forecast over the next 20 years because of the slump in air freight which started about two years ago, according to Boeing.

Smoother skies ahead: new freighters and converted passenger aircraft essential to handle long-term growth in airfreight

International air freight volumes would climb by 5.4% per year between now and 2028, the US aircraft manufacturer said in its latest commercial aircraft market forecasts.

By comparison, two years ago, Boeing forecast 6.1% annual growth until 2026.
