Norton Rose to merge with Deacons Australia

International law firm Norton Rose has announced it will join forces with Deacons Australia in a move to boost its presence in the Asia Pacific region.

Both law firms voted on the merger on Monday and the response had been extremely positive, Norton Rose chief executive Peter Martyr said yesterday.

The combined practice will be called Norton Rose Group with effect from January 1.
