A malfunction in the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service computer system yesterday has been resolved, the Australian Federation of International Forwarders (AFIF) said.
The system outage affected clearance of cargo such as perishable goods, live animals, fish and plants as the consignment status would not update in the Integrated Cargo System, AFIF said.
An AFIF spokeswoman said the problem was rectified at about 6.30pm yesterday.
