Transport safety agencies name board members

Australian Shipowners Association chairman Noel Hart has been named part-time commissioner of the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB).

Mr Hart, who is currently North West Shelf Shipping's general manager, will join new ATSB chief commissioner Martin Dolan, transport minister Anthony Albanese said in a statement.

A second part-time commissioner position is expected to be filled soon.
