MEMBER for Bennelong Maxine McKew has been appointed parliamentary secretary for infrastructure, transport, regional development and local government.

Making the announcement, prime minister Kevin Rudd said that Ms McKew would assist with infrastructure roll out, with a particular focus on community infrastructure and local government.
