Red faces over Maersk Alabama hijacking

THE capture of the Maersk Alabama was “a bit embarrassing”, according to BIMCO head of security Giles Noakes.

Speaking at a roundtable discussion on piracy organised by law firm ELS International, Mr Noakes said the FBI was now investigating the incident.
Any investigation of the Maersk Alabama hijacking is likely to centre on whether best practice guidelines...
