Cathay, Dragonair feeling the pinch
THE AMOUNT of air cargo and mail carried by Cathay Pacific Airways and its domestic subsidiary, Dragonair, dived in May as local and international demand weakened.
Cathay Pacific and Dragonair carried a combined 121,966 tonnes of air cargo in May, down 13.3% from May 2008, and tonnage so far this year has dropped 16.5% , the airline’s latest figures showed.
