Europol to co-ordinate anti-piracy investigations

EUROPOL is to marshal its intelligence-gathering activities on Somali pirates and their international criminal networks, following a high-level meeting in the Hague.

The European Union law enforcement organisation wants a joint operation to police, co-ordinate and investigate piracy gangs and their criminal networks.
