SHIPPING Australia’s Captain Doug Bourne-Jones was among a host of personalities from the shipping, transport and logistics industries named in the Queen’s Birthday honours list last week.

Capt Bourne-Jones received an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for services to transport and logistics particularly through the shipping industry.
The 80-year-old is the South Australia secretary of Shipping Australia.
