ANNUAL growth in air cargo traffic will be almost lower than forecast over the next 20 years because of the slump in airfreight which started about two years ago, according to Boeing.
International airfreight volumes would climb by 5.4% per year between now and 2028, the US aircraft manufacturer said in its latest commercial aircraft market forecasts.
By comparison, two years ago, Boeing forecast 6.1% annual growth until 2026.
