PILBARA iron ore producer Fortescue Metals Group last week reached an out of court settlement in a dispute with capesize operator Classic Maritime.
But in a separate case, the iron ore miner has refused to pay insolvent ship operator Armada the US$81m it owes for cancelling a six-year contract of affreightment (COA) in December.
