MSC Napoli final removal under way

WORK on the removal of the remaining section of the MSC Napoli is now under way, according to a statement from the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA).

The announcement comes after salvor Global Response Maritime successfully positioned 12 lifting chains under the wreck, allowing it to make preparations to lift the remaining hull section to the surface for demolition and recycling.
