Newbuildings aid flexibility

THE LATEST large car and truck carrier for Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics, the 71,673gt Tijuca, was named in Melbourne recently.

Built at the Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering yard in South Korea for owner Wilh. Wilhelmsen, the Tijuca will be able to carry up to 8,000 cars or a combination of 3,486 cars and 466 trucks/buses.
