No Donnybrook over site for new Melbourne hub

Although just a field and a road at present, the Melbourne northern-fringe area at Donnybrook could well be where stage two of the Victorian Government's Metropolitan Freight Terminal Network (MFTN) begins.

Stage one would be a terminal network, based around existing sites and infrastructure in the Altona/Laverton, Somerton and Dandenong areas.

Estimated at costing $340m to build, Donnybrook, north of metropolitan Melbourne, is a key initiative of the Freight Futures strategy...
