Shipbreaking alarm

Dead bodies of unregistered employees are being tossed into the sea at Bangladeshi shipbreaking yards, according to British Member of the European Parliament Robert Evans.

Speaking following a trip to Chittagong in November, Mr Evans claimed local workers said some deaths were reported but that many bodies were unaccounted for and simply thrown into the sea.
