Tui looks to urgent exit from Hapag-Lloyd
Tui has confirmed it will exit container line Hapag-Lloyd as soon as possible, despite agreeing to take a larger stake in the company for the moment in order to rescue the sale to the Albert Ballin consortium, Lloyd's List reported.
Tui will own a 43.3% in Hapag-Lloyd and will remain the largest shareholder, chief financial officer Rainer Feuerhake confirmed during an analyst conference on last Friday.
Initially, Tui intended to cut its stake down to a third.
