New ARA chair to keep funding of rail a priority

Australian Rail Track Corporation chief executive David Marchant (ARTC) has been named the new chairman of the Australasian Railway Association (ARA).

Mr Marchant will replace Asciano chief operating officer Don Telford, who had chaired the association since July 2007.
