Survey finds steady supply of candidates

Recruitment and training dominated the Australian Maritime College's biennial Maritime Transport Forum (MTF) last month like no other issue.

It helped that Jodie Campbell on behalf of federal transport minister Anthony Albanese and herself a member of the coastal shipping inquiry reminded delegates that shipping's skilled seafarer shortfall was estimated to reach 3,000 by next year.
