Chevron is drilling up production with seven new projects

US OIL major Chevron plans to start production from seven energy projects in the next two years to add 650,000 barrels of oil equivalent daily production to its portfolio.

The New York-listed group plans to commence exports from four projects this year and another three in 2010.

In the longer term, it is building a strong position in liquefied natural gas to commercialise its massive gas discoveries off...
