While almost all other sectors of the shipping industry are in turmoil at the present time, the specialised reefer shipping business seems to be in a comparatively healthy position.
Despite a slow start to 2009, most reefer markets remain fairly robust, largely on the basis that, as one analyst observes, people need food.
Perishable cargo volumes appear likely to be at least the same this year as last...
